TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Booking Conditions
1.1 Payment Schedule:The client shall pay for the stay as follows:
- 50% at the time of booking
- 50% no later than 14 days before arrivalA payment plan may be discussed between the owner and the guests in the case of a long-term stay
1.2 Security Deposit:
a) First option : A security hold of €2200 will be made by the trusted third party STRIPE on the client’s credit card, but the amount will not be charged.
b)Second option: A security deposit by cheque (not cashed).
1.3 Modification Policy:For any change regarding the number of guests or the dates of stay, please contact us directly. We will do our best to accommodate your request depending on availability.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 The client will be charged 100% of the total price if the booking is cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival.
2.2 The client will be charged 50% of the total price if the booking is cancelled between 30 and 14 days prior to arrival.
2.3 The client may cancel free of charge up to 31 days before arrival.
3. General Terms and Conditions of Sale
3.1 Booking : By making a reservation on our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions of Sale:
3.1.1 To book a stay, please provide accurate and complete information such as your personal contact details, desired dates of stay, number of guests, etc.
3.1.2 The booking is confirmed only after receiving a confirmation from us (or from the booking platform), including the payment details, Terms and Conditions of Sale, and Cancellation Policy.If you do not receive this confirmation email, please contact us at+33 (0)6 11 36 69 96 (Marc) / +33 (0)6 19 07 90 37 (Karolina).
3.1.3 When paying online, you will be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
3.1.4 Before your arrival, a copy of a valid ID will be requested, along with the full list of guests staying at the Mas (first and last name of each person).The ID copy will not be kept once all guests have left the property.This information is required for insurance and safety purposes, as well as to comply with local tax and administrative regulations (in case of verification by local authorities such as the Town Hall, Tourist Office, URSSAF, or DGFIP).
3.2 Check-in Policy: The house is available from 5:00 p.m., unless an early check-in option (€60) has been arranged in advance.
3.3 Check-out PolicyThe house must be vacated by 11:00 a.m., unless a late check-out option (€60) has been agreed upon.
3.4 Rates and PaymentPayment for the stay must be made according to the conditions specified at the time of booking, including the total amount, any service fees, and the applicable cancellation terms.
3.5 Guests’ Responsibilities
3.5.1 Guests are required to comply with the property’s rules and policies during their stay.Good practices and the clauses relating to the use of the premises are outlined in the Welcome Book, sent a few days before arrival.A full printed version is also available at the house.The last page of the Welcome Book, confirming acceptance of the property’s terms of occupation, must be signed upon check-in.
3.5.2 Guests are expected to act as responsible occupants and to maintain the cleanliness and condition of the property throughout their stay.Any damage caused to the property will be charged to the guest.
3.5.3 Guests are responsible for the security of their personal belongings.The property cannot be held liable in case of loss, theft, or damage.When leaving the premises, guests are advised to lock all doors and windows and ensure that the gates are properly closed.
3.6 Property’s Responsibilities
3.6.1 We are committed to providing quality service and ensuring your stay is as pleasant as possible.However, we cannot be held responsible for disruptions or incidents beyond our control (such as weather conditions, wind, rain, public events, etc.).
3.6.2 In the event of any issue or complaint during your stay, please inform us immediately so that we can take appropriate measures to resolve the situation.
4. Clause Regarding Occupancy and Vacation of the Premises 4.1 This agreement is entered into exclusively as a seasonal rental, in accordance with Article L. 324-1-1 of the French Tourism Code.4.2 If the tenant proceeds with the rental, they are hereby informed and expressly acknowledge that:
4.2.1 This rental is concluded for a fixed, non-renewable period, as specified in the contract.
4.2.2 The accommodation does not constitute the tenant’s primary or secondary residence.
4.2.3 The tenant undertakes to vacate the premises on the date and time of departure stated in the contract, with no possibility of tacit renewal.
4.2.4 Any occupation beyond the agreed period shall be considered unauthorized occupancy (“occupation without right or title”) and may lead to immediate eviction proceedings, in accordance with the provisions of the French Civil Code and the Code of Civil Procedure.In such a case, the lessor may, in addition to initiating legal proceedings, claim an occupancy indemnity equivalent to three times the agreed daily rental rate, without prejudice to any additional damages.
